This Character Design project is part of my participation in the Elite S/A Challenge from Victor Beuren's course.
The proposal is to create the concept of three characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so I chose to design: Violet, Charlie and Willy Wonka.
The proposal is to create the concept of three characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so I chose to design: Violet, Charlie and Willy Wonka.
For Violet, I sought references from the 1960s, thinking of colorful, playful and somehow modern styles.
Charlie is a very humble boy, so I wanted to depict a contrast between him and the other characters, both in his way of dressing and in his innocent and kind expressions.
I wanted to think about Willy Wonka as a cool, elegant and imposing man, but I also wanted him to be a colorful and humorous character.
